"And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36:26
Ryan had a good day! He did fall down once while walking, but I didn't see exactly what happened. He was fine, but that has happened several times now, and it's frustrating. That happened at Davianna's graduation, and when I got home from work he told me that the neosporin "fixed his blood." :)
The big event today was Davianna's graduation! It wasn't as long as Ryan's, and there were a lot more people. She was excited to see us, and she looked like a little lady. She was beaming all day.
Davianna and her teacher.
Davianna and her best friends.
And the mothers....
After we ate the wonderful meal that Mirjan cooked, Davianna and I ran some errands. She received some flowers from her Daddy for graduation, and was excited.
Due to the mess that someone (maybe me) has made with the bookshelves, Davianna is now the librarian. She checks out and in all books. I asked her for one tonight so that I could read to Ryan, and she made me fill out a form. She wanted to know what time I would bring it back and then she wrote down the title. Uh, okay. After reading, Ryan and I talked about facing the needle tomorrow, and we have a plan of action. He is going to go in there like a WWE wrestler and tell the nurse to "bring it on." He still remembers one of the wrestlers talking about the others as little sheep, and he said the needle was going to be his little sheep. Go, Ryan!
Emma was playing around with me tonight. I would ask her for a kiss, she would shake her head no, and then I would tickle her. She would just laugh. Repeat. Repeat. Daddy's getting tired. Repeat.
Davianna and I talked for a while and then she went to sleep. I told her that I was really proud of her accomplishments and that I loved her with all of my heart. I love it when she gives me her special little smile when I tell her things like that. She is precious.
Father, thank you for blessing us with another good day. Thank you for guiding Davianna through this year of school, keeping her safe, and letting me watch her amazing development. It seems like yesterday that she came into this world with her little frog legs, and I thank you for the blessing of her and the love that we have shared. Father, I ask that you give Ryan courage tomorrow to face the needle. Comfort his mind. Let the treatment be safe and effective and continue to heal my little boy. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

It can't be! Davianna has graduated! Congratulations! Cherish this time because Amanda graduated from Kindergarten seemingly just yesterday! Now she is a Senior ready to face new challenges after graduation in May 2011. It is amazing how quickly the years go by even though some of the days are long!
We continue to pray for all of you, thankful for the love and encouragement that God shows you and your family. You, even if you don't realize it, are blessing many people beyond your wildest imagination. Hope that Ryan's treatment goes smoothly today and that his healing continues.
Love,
Bob, Kenda and family
