Day One Hundred Thirty-two

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed.." Romans 12:2

Here is a message from Davianna, "Ryan is strong, and he is cute.  He is funny.  He is crazy."

Ryan was in a pretty good mood today.  He was still wearing the batman suit when I got home that he was wearing this morning.  Some of his hair is coming back and it is very noticeable now, but we don't know how long it will stay....hopefully forever!  I can't wait to give him that blue mohawk!

The house was quiet tonight, and Davianna asked if we could watch television.  I said that we were going to cancel television because we shouldn't be watching it anyway.   Ryan then said, "If you cancel tv, then you can't watch football any more."   Pretty interesting that he quickly pointed out how I would be affected if I made that decision. : )  So, I turned on the tv and Ryan started playing Soduku on the ipod.  He plays by his own rules and always wins.

Emma is such a happy little girl.  There's nothing better than starting your day with a little girl waking up full of joy and wanting to hug and kiss you.  Then when I got home, she was so excited it's like someone just told her she was going to disneyworld.

Mirjan sent me this picture today, and I thought it was a picture in a magazine.  But no, it was from her garden....red beans that her mother planted.  I'm waiting to see the okra!

It was a pretty quiet, easy evening.  The thunderstorms came and we watched the lightning flash...and the crazy dog go nuts.   The kids got some neat books in the mail from Nana, and Davianna already started reading one.  There is also a book of science experiments, so we will have some mad scientists in the house before too long.  Oh, and Mirjan sent me a link to a youtube wrestling video...growing okra and watching wrestling!  She is a good Southern girl now!

Father, thank you for blessing of a good, healthy day.  Thank you for happy children that bring so much joy each day.  I ask that you prepare Ryan's mind for the treatment this week, let it be safe and effective, and continue to heal his little body.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen.
