Day One Hundred Two

Mirjan:  "Ryan, come drink your medicine."
Ryan:    "Mom, please have some patience."
Mirjan:  "Ryan, I don't have any more patience."
Ryan:    "Then you need to pray to God and ask for some more!"
Ryan:    "Lord, please give my mom some patience, so I can finish playing my game and then take my medicine."

It's a blessing that God is in his thoughts throughout every day.  We can work on the rest!

Ryan was sick yet again this morning.  He has gotten sick for four straight days straight now, and I pray it's the last day for a while.  He was in a pretty good mood this evening, and he was real excited about the lettuce with vinegar.  So, that is something else that he wants to eat, which is a good thing.

Davianna has a big math test tomorrow, so she said that she needed to go to bed early.  What?!?  I'm going to ask the school if they can have tests every day.   She received a trophy from SuperSibs! today, and she was really excited.  She was carrying it around when I got home and told me all about it.  What a blessing.

Emma was loud and proud today....and messy.  She is so much fun! She was sitting on the couch and just started yelling, "Caca!"  Mirjan would ask her if she needed to go potty, and she would shake her head "no" and laugh.  I guess I'm lucky that all of the kids have my humor...poor Mirjan.

Thank you, Mirjan, for cooking a wonderful dinner!  I hope that your nose feels better.  :)

Father, I ask that you strengthen Ryan's body and take the nausea away.  I ask that you comfort his heart and let him feel your love.  Please let him feel your presence every day and know that you are walking with him along this journey.  Continue to heal my little boy.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen.
