"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2
I'm not sure how most of the day went before I got home, but Ryan was in a good mood when I was here. He ate his dinner (with some help of Mirjan's timer), and was pretty calm most of the evening. He didn't complain when Mirjan gave him his bactrim, which is always a good thing. The bath and bedtime routine was calm and uneventful. We read a book, told stories, and he was out like a light. Thank you, Lord, for a good day and good behavior!
Davianna finished up my birthday present, but daddy broke a corner off. The instructions said to let it dry overnight, but should have said "if you live in Arizona and leave it out overnight." Pops had a good idea of getting the mesh webbing, which we'll do for the next one. Anyway, she had fun painting it, so it was well worth it.
Mirjan is going to donate blood tomorrow, and Pops is going with her to make sure she gets home safely. Elise will watch the tornado while they are out. They are going to stay longer tomorrow until this is done, and we truly appreciate it! They are leaving tomorrow after almost two weeks of being here, and we will miss them. It's hard to describe how much that they have really helped out over that time. Pops was fixing or painting things every day, and when he had some free time, he would be cleaning things. Elise was doing everything....taking care of the kids, cooking, cleaning, etc. It is truly a blessing to have them take this much time to spend with us. We will all miss them and look forward to the next visit. Emma is going to have to find a new popcorn buddy.
Father, thank you for blessing Ryan with a good day and good behavior! Please be with Mirjan tomorrow and give her body strength as she gives blood. I ask that you be with Pops and Elise, bless them, and let them have a safe trip home. I thank you for their love and blessings for the past two weeks. Your love displayed. I ask that you continue to comfort Ryan, bless him with peace, and help us all find the balance among all of the changes for harmony. I thank you for your grace and love. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
