"Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be." Mathew 6:21
The house was quiet this evening. Two little noise makers weren't here, and the kids didn't make too much noise either (besides a brief territory dispute in the bathtub). Pops and Mama Elise left today, and we were kind of lost. Mirjan was looking at me and I was looking at her....we were both thinking, "Where is dinner?" It just magically appeared every night during the last two weeks. At least we had leftovers, so it was a meatloaf, chicken, and sausage night. Ryan said tonight that he wished that they could stay for 100 days.
Ryan had a good day today. He ate his dinner and was in a pretty good mood throughout the evening. Mirjan went to give blood today, but they were unable to get enough blood for a donation. Pops went with her and made sure she got back home safe. She was pretty upset because she had her mind set on being a donor for Ryan. The love she displays everyday for her children is amazing! So, we're praying that he doesn't need a transfusion this week. If not, then I think it's my turn next week.
The kids are playing with a toy from Pops and Mama Elise. Pretty cool.
BREAKING NEWS.....Ryan told Mirjan that he had a girlfriend today. Mirjan asked him the name of his girlfriend, and Ryan wouldn't divulge that information. I'm trying think where Pops and Mama Elise took him over the past two weeks to meet the girls. :)
Bath time, bedtime, prayers, sleep, quiet.... day 89...over and out.
Father, thank you for blessing us with the love of Pops and Mama Elise and the time together over the past two weeks. I ask that you bless them keep them safe as they drive across country today and tomorrow. Thank you for another good day for Ryan and comforting his mood. I ask that you strengthen his body and let his counts rise. In Jesus' name, I ask that you continue to heal his little body. Amen.
