"For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100:5
Ryan is doing well today. His uncle took him out today, and Ryan got more Bakugans. He is running out of space on the sewing table, so I'm not sure where he is going to put these. He had fun with his uncle today, and they were playing together tonight and laughing.
Ryan said at the dinner table (Mirjan cooked an awesome dinner!) that he didn't want to go to the doctor and get the needle tomorrow. He said he could feel it in his whole body. So, we'll have to prepare him for that again and divert his attention when it's happening.
David and Michelle made a Mexican soup and dropped it off tonight. So, we know what we're having tomorrow for dinner! God's love displayed.
Denise and Mark invited us to their house in the country in a couple of weekends, so the kids can see the baby goats, green eggs, a donkey and a horse. They will have a blast! God's love displayed.
I am vindicated! Mirjan was sure that I lost (or threw out) one of her cooking pots. It was her grandmother's, very special to her, and extremely hard to clean. Well, today, Mirjan's mom asked why her mother's cooking pot was outside. Hmmm...Mirjan then realized that she took it outside because the rice burned. I forgive you, Mirjan, and I hope that you enjoy the flowers that I bought you this week!
"I thunk much bout my child hood memorees and I'm gonna eet cheesetoast this weekend for every meel. Thanks, ma, fur teeching me gud grammer."
Father, thank you for Ryan's joy and the fun he had with his uncle. I ask that you be with the doctor and nurses tomorrow and let Ryan have a safe treatment and recover quickly. I am grateful for the love and caring this week and the constant experience of your love. Amen.
