Day One Hundred Seventy

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Mathew 21:22

Ryan was in an awesome mood all day long.  His friend slept over, and they were up early playing.  We left the house by 9:30 and headed down to park by the hospital.  The manager of the christian bookstore called and invited us to a "Day of Sharing."  So we met him and a manager of another bookstore at the park.  They had brought some breakfast food and juices, and the kids had a wonderful time.  They are such wonderful people.  Mathew has really been gracious with his time and gifts for Ryan.  God's love displayed.  Orlando, Melinda and their kids joined us after a while.  They live in the extreme ELT zone.  Mathew, Crystal, and I played baseball with Ryan.  He must have swung at 150 pitches and was not getting tired.  Crystal said the bat was too little for her kids, so she let Ryan take it home.  Ryan was really excited!  Here are some pictures:

Mathew gave the kids an adventure Bible and several DVDs, which we watched later today.  Davianna loved "Gigi" and Ryan was into "Bibleman."

We then ate lunch over by the hospital with Orlando and Melinda.  Emma was getting tired, but the other kids were still full of energy.  Afterward, we ran by a computer repair shop to get Mirjan's phone repaired.  They were able to fix it in about 20 minutes, so her phone is almost as good as new.  As he was giving it back to me, he told me that the phone has had a hard life and the water sensors have been set off and some of the contacts inside were rusting.  He said that the only way that could happen is if  "someone" dropped it in water.  About that time, Mirjan walked in and he mumbled under his breath, "uh-oh....someone is in trouble."   :)

When we got home several people took a little nap.  It was a relaxing couple of hours.  Then Mirjan took the kids to the Luau in the neighborhood, and I mowed the lawn.  After that, it was bath and bed time.  Good day!

Father, thank you for blessing Ryan with a healthy day.  Thank you for his energy and his loving, sweet heart that he showed all day long.  Thank you for blessing us with the time together to enjoy one another.  I am grateful for all of these moments.  Father, I ask that you continue to strengthen Ryan's body and keep him healthy.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen.
