“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” Ephesians 3:20
Another Friday, another treatment, another vomit episode. Poor little, boy. At least he gets over it fast and is good to go. I wasn't at the treatment and when I asked him about the doctor's visit, he said, "Oh, yeah. I threw up. Not on mommy though. They had a bucket for me. And I got a toy from the toy cart." The child life specialist also spent time with him before the treatment to help with his nerves. The CBC was good and the doctor said that he is pretty certain now that Ryan won't need a transfusion. Thank you, Lord!
I got home early from work, so Ryan and I took off. We went to go see Shrek....in 3D! We have gone to several movies over the past two months, and we really have a good time. I love hearing him talk about his favorite parts of the movie afterward. We stopped by Walgreen's on the way home and picked him up some vitamin Bs. We'll see how that starts working out.
Mirjan and the girls went to meet friends at the pool, so they ended up getting home after us. We ordered pizza for dinner to give Mirjan a break from cooking. Emma looooves pizza! Then we let the kids stay up late.
Father, thank you for Ryan's safe treatment today. I ask that you continue to strengthen his body and minimize the side affects. Please bless us with a weekend full of love and caring and help us make a difference in other people's lives. I ask that you continue to heal my little boy. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

It's got to be the Dominican Go-Go juice. I know if I get sick, I want some! I don't care how bad it smells...
