"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power." Ephesians 6:10
Ryan had a good day today. We went to the early service, and Ryan didn't want to go to Sunday School. So, he stayed with us during the service and was well behaved. He was singing the song at the end of the service, and afterward he said, "church was good today, Dad." Victor enjoyed the service as well.
We went to Subway because Ryan wanted a ham sandwich (and the cupboards were bare...I guess it's time to go to Sam's again). Ryan ate all of his food and Emma provided the entertainment. She stood up the entire time and made a lot of noise. She also thought that she was the official greeter and would say, "hi," and wave to everyone.
Davianna and Abby got home right before we did, and Davianna said that she had a wonderful time at Abby's house. They watched movies, painted their fingernails, and many other things. It was really nice that she could spend time with Abby and continue to develop that cousin relationship.
We had a relaxing day...Davianna and I watched "Inkheart", which held our attention enough to finish it. She and I continually battle over the "best" seat on the couch. If I get up, she jumps over there, and I do the same to her. So, we battled a little bit today. Ryan played on the computer, and he is quickly becoming an expert. Emma must have kissed me 100 times today. She is such a happy child.
After the bath time, Davianna came into Ryan's room to kiss him goodnight. Then all three of us talked for a while and told knock-knock jokes that didn't make any sense. Davianna just wanted to talk tonight, so we did that instead of reading a book.
Nothing real exciting today, but we were able to spend it together.
Father, thank you for blessing Ryan with a healthy day and time together for our family. Thank you for the love and caring for Ryan from so many people. It is amazing, and I am grateful. Thank you for letting Davianna and Abby spend time together, and I ask that you continue to let them grow up together and enjoy one another's company. Please continue to walk with Ryan and heal his little body. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
