Ryan had a good day today. He was tired, but in good spirits. When I got home, we ate a wonderful meal that Mirjan cooked out on the grill and then went to the Maundy Thursday service. Davianna and Ryan stayed in the nursery, and Emma stayed with us. Kind of backwards, but it worked. Emma was having fun with the lady next to us. She was playing games with her and hold her hand and dancing. It was a good service, and I'm glad we went. Mirjan did a good job making sure we were there on time tonight..hmmm, I wonder if it's something with the moon. :)
I mentioned that Ryan liked to sing the song, "Mighty to Save," and I had posted a video of the song some time ago. I was looking through the phone, and I ran across this video of him singing. (For those of you technically challenged who might live 90 miles south of me, hit the little arrow at the bottom of the video screen. :) )
We got home from church late, so the bedtime routine was out of whack. The kids were tired, so they went to bed pretty quick. Ryan prayed another wonderful prayer, and Davianna said hers as she was falling asleep. Emma gave me a hug before Mirjan took her to sleep. They are such blessings!
Father, thank you for blessing our family with another good day. Thank you for the service at church and allowing us to spend some time on your miracles of this weekend. I ask that you be with Ryan tomorrow, let his treatment be safe and effective, and the side effects minimal. Give him courage and strength to face the needle and keep his spirits high. Please continue to heal my little boy. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
