"Encourage one another daily, " Hebrews 3:13
Ryan was healthy today, but boy was he moody. At times he was the sweetest little boy, and at other times his emotions were all over the place. It's frustrating to see this type of effect on his behavior, but I'm praying that it's temporary and will return to normal. I feel bad for him to get so upset over things that never use to bother him. I'm sure it's the food and sleep balance thing as well, so we'll just continue to work on it.
Ryan went shopping with Pops and Mama Elise, and he was able to get another bakugan out of the deal. Here is a picture of his collection now. He has each bakugan on a battle card and has taken over the sewing table. He really could open his own ebay shop!
Ryan's best friend Parker and his brother Hudson came over, which is such a blessing for him. We are blessed that Genevieve makes time for her boys to play with Ryan so often. God's love displayed. They had a fun time playing duck, duck, goose on the trampoline!
Mirjan picked up some BBQ, because Ryan loves the sausage, and she was trying to get him to eat. I got home late again today, but they left enough food that I can take some for lunch tomorrow.
Pops let me get the pictures from his camera today, so here are some more:
I took the kids a bath and then it was fun and chaos. Elise was reading with Davianna, I was playing with Emma, and Mirjan was trying to get Ryan to take some medicine (that's the chaos part). Afterwards, Davianna went right to sleep, and Mirjan took Emma. Ryan ended up going with Mirjan because he was still upset with the medicine.
Tomorrow is the big treatment, and I think we have worked out the logistics. Emma will stay with Pops and Elise. I'll take Davianna to school and then head to work and then the hospital. Mirjan will take Ryan to the hospital. I'm ready for the weekend to be over with good news, and we continue the journey.
Father, I ask that you give Ryan comfort and help us all find the right balance with food and sleep to help his behavior. Let him feel your calming love and know that you are holding his hand and leading him through the healing process of this journey. I ask that you give him strength and courage as he undergoes the treatment tomorrow, let all the procedures be safe and effective, and minimize the side affects. Father, please be with Mirjan as she watches over him and give her strength and comfort. Please continue to heal my little boy. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
