Day Eighty

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."  John 14:27

Ryan had a good day today.  He zoned out in front of the television for a while, but was in generally good spirits throughout the day.  I think he bounced back from this big treatment quicker than the previous ones.  Thank you, Lord!  He carried around his Iron Man hand, which was a gift from Pops and Mama Elise, most of the day.

He slept with Pops and Mama Elise last night, and they said he was restless most of the night.  The girls ended up in our bed, and I slept in Davianna's bed.  The weekend sleeping arrangements seem to be out of whack lately, so we'll get back to normal tonight (I think).

We went to Frys today, so Mama Elise could look at memory and a hard drive.  I've been bugging Mirjan for a computer, but she said that has to wait until Emma gets a bed.  However, Mirjan and Ryan were playing with a touchscreen computer, and I didn't think we'd get them away from it.  I bet if I brought that home one day, she wouldn't be too upset...hmmmm.

We then went to have bruncher (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and enjoyed a nice meal together.  Emma is like a food vacuum.  She eats more than anyone and always wants more.  Maybe some of that will rub off on Ryan!

Afterward, we looked at beds for the kids.  There really were some amazing little beds.  I picked out a bunk bed for Ryan and myself, but I don't think Mirjan approved.  We could have a guys room, get a big screen tv, play bakugans, and watch football together.   I would get to sleep on the top bed because I know Ryan would be throwing things down at me at night.

This is a princess bed that Davianna loved:

This evening, we hung out around the house.  Ryan was explaining how to win "Ragdoll Blaster" on the ipod to Pops.  When Pops got stuck, Ryan would help him out.  After a while, Ryan quit helping because he said, "Pops isn't listening to me."   I think this is Pops real first game on his iphone (beside solitaire), but I think he's hooked now.

Here is a random picture of our wonderful, always barking, hyper dog:

Father, thank you for blessing Ryan with a good day.  Thank you for his energy!  I ask that you give us strength and comfort this week as Ryan undergoes more tests.  I ask that the procedures are safe the results show your healing power.  I am grateful for your blessings this weekend during his treatment, and the love and time shared with the family.  Please continue to heal my little boy.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen.
