Ryan had another good day today. Mirjan cooked a wonderful dinner, and the kids were laughing uncontrollably while they ate. Why were they laughing? Well, let's just say they were being silly. I started laughing at them and ended up snorting like a pig, which made them laugh even more.
Mirjan and Ryan dropped off cokes at the church today for the coke handout this weekend. Ryan said that they told him that "he was the man." I had to remind him that I am the man, and he is the boy. He told me that he was the daddy now and said that I was punished for 10 days.
Mirjan is going to be a television star and is getting her first big break this Friday. She will be on tv! The doctor's office called and asked if she could be interviewed by the news and talk about our experience with the clinic. They are going to be there as part of the Superhero Kids day on Friday. Hollywood here we come!
Ryan was really sweet today. He would tell me that he loves me and then give me a hug. Thank you, Lord, for such a wonderful son.
The kids had fun blowing up the plastic balloons. I remember those as a kid. We got to blow some up if we ate all of our cheesetoast. :)
Father, thank you for your blessings on this day. Thank you for the hugs and kisses of little girls and boys. Thank you for the smiles, laughter, tickling, and chasing. The little things in life are so much bigger now, and I am truly grateful for you showing me. I ask that you continue to give Ryan confidence and heal his little body. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
