"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7
Ryan did well today, but didn't eat a lot. He just had meat for dinner, and didn't want to eat anything else the rest of the night. As such, his mood deteriorated towards bedtime. He ate like a horse yesterday, so I'm hoping tomorrow he will do that again.
Today was a slow, easy day. We went over to Will and Marielk's house, and they prepared food for everyone. The dinner was really nice, and I could pronounce all of the foods. Will took the kids and played fetch with his dogs, and then showed them some of his robot simulations on the computer.
Mirjan's mom and Marielk were performing some type of ritual to determine the sex of the baby. If the necklace swings side to side, the baby will be a boy. If the necklace turns in a circle, the baby will be a girl. Or something along those lines. Anyway, I downloaded a free iphone app, and it said the baby will be a girl. We input the data for our kids, and it was correct for all of them. So, Marielk's baby will be a girl.
The kids have learned to burp, and that is a big accomplishment for them. So, we had a burping contest tonight (before the boss came back to the room). Davianna won hands down when she burped Ryan's name. I'm so proud of you, baby girl.
Not much else to capture today. Now that the kids are asleep, it's time to catch up on the bills, etc.
Father, thank you for a restful day and a healthy one for Ryan. I ask that you give us guidance with his food selection, and that he gets the nutrients that he needs on a daily basis. Keep Ryan's immune system strong and continue to heal his little body. Thank you for the time with family and friends today and your blessings that we shared. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
