Feed your faith and your fears will starve to death.  ~Author Unknown
How long does it take a four year old to count/sing to 300?   How long did Forrest Gump run across the U.S.?   Ryan wanted to count after we went over the states, so I just sat there and listened and listened and listened.  Mirjan laughed as she said he would count to 300 and left to clean up messes that everyone made (except me).  She truly is a wonderful person.
Ryan was in a good mood today.  When I got home the house was too quiet.  Ryan was in the kitchen by himself singing "Mighty to Save" and busy doing something.  When did he learn that song?  He had taken down his bendaroo masterpiece that he was so proud of and was creating smaller bendaroo works of art for everyone else.  He gave me two and said that I could keep them forever.  He really does have a beautiful heart.
A teacher from Ryan's school had made a casserole for us, which was really nice (and really good).  God's love displayed over and over again.
One of Mirjan's friends made cupcakes so Davianna could take them to school.  So, Mirjan took them for the classmates to enjoy.  They were able to eat lunch with Davianna while they were there.   It looks like that they had a fun time.
I read several studies on the treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma last night, which included the different approaches of treatment, the success rates, the relapse percentages, etc.  Most of the studies were old; some made me feel better, while some made me feel worse.  It was interesting reading and one paper included a surveillance approach versus chemotherapy.  In general, the information that seemed most credible was very consistent with what our doctor has been telling us.
Lord, thank you for a good day full of your blessings.  Thank you for the time I spent with the family, which seems more special each day.  Thank you for Mirjan and all that she does every day.  Please give her strength and energy and let her feel your love and comfort.  I am thankful for all that you have provided. The love and caring that we experience everyday are your blessings, and we thank you.  In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
