Day One Hundred Thirty-nine

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."  Lamentations 3:22-23

Everyone had a good day today!  The kids were excited to see Pops and Mama Elise today, so there was a lot of energy in the house.  They showed up before dinner time and the kids were having a blast.  They brought Ryan a little toy that shoots a disc straight up in the air.  He was playing with it all evening.  They gave Davianna a little purse, and she was beaming.  Emma received a little stuffed animal and was happy.  It's great that they have been able to visit twice over the last couple of months.  Everyone enjoys their time here.

Emma wasn't quite sure why Pops kept following her around.....

Mirjan cooked some chicken and her famous cornbread, and afterward she made some absolutely amazing baby shower invitations.  They really looked like an idea out of a magazine! I wanted to take a picture but by that time, they were already in the envelopes and sealed.  People would pay for those type of invitations!

As she was doing her invitations, everyone else went for a walk down to the little playground.  Davianna took her little craft packet that Mama Elise made because she wanted to work on her math.  That's my girl!

Emma and Ryan played on the little toys and slides for a while before we headed home.

This was an action shot of Ryan dancing, but you can see that his hair is coming back a little.

It was a good day!

Father, I am thankful for the love of family and that Pops and Elise are able to spend time with us.  Thank you for a safe trip for them and blessing us with their time.  I ask that you continue to comfort Ryan's mind as we have seen improvements in his behavior and he has been in better spirits.  Thank you!  Please strengthen his body and continue to heal my little boy.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen.

Andrew and I were looking at the pictures. Andrew said, "I want to say 'hi' to Ryan. Ryan is my friend!"

Blessings for the treatment on Friday!
