"Consider the priceless value of the one woman who made your life possible - your mother.
Think about her example, her support, her humor, her counsel, her humility, her hospitality, her insight, her patience, her sacrifices. Her faith. Her hope. Her love." Live It
Today was a great day! Ryan woke up early and then decided that everyone else should be up too. He was in a good mood the entire day, and he was smiling and sweet too!
The Millers came over for lunch and they brought the kids little gifts (and everyone some ice cream and cones). Ryan loved the bubbles and was quickly outside making sure the burgers had a little bubble flavor. Their two daughters were very sweet and played with the kids for several hours. After they left, Ryan asked me to call them and see if they could play with them again. :) Michael shared his experience with us, and they were generous with their time. They offered to help in any way. Such a blessing!
After the Millers left, we got ready for a birthday party! Carolina was turning 1, so we headed over to their house. There were bounce houses, swing sets, and a trampoline, so the kids had a fun time. Ryan was hanging close to me for the first 30 minutes or so, which was kind of nice. He eventually ventured out on his own and was all over the place. I talked with several people who are such servants of God. They asked many times if there was anything that they could do...anything. Every conversation was genuine, and I could tell that they really cared and wanted to help in any way. God's love displayed over and over.
Father, thank you for blessing Ryan with an outstanding day full of love, friendship, and smiles. Thank you for the caring and love displayed through your children for Ryan. I am truly grateful and, at times, overwhelmed at the kindness that your children have shared. I ask that you continue to strengthen Ryan and continue to heal his little body. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
