Day Seventy-two

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds."  Hebrews 10:24

Today was a great day for Ryan.  Mark and Denise invited us over to their house in the country, so the kids could enjoy the goats, horse, tractor, etc.  We had a really nice afternoon, and are grateful for their kindness. Ryan was pretty much full of energy the entire time that we were out there.  Denise gave us a dozen eggs from her chickens, and they cooked hot dogs and hamburgers.  Here are some pictures from the day:

Emma loved the flowers!

Like the go-carts, Davianna had no fear and would pose for the camera when she drove by.

Mark and Denise and their beautiful horse.

Davianna riding bareback!

Mirjan can't do this in the Bronx!

Cruiser is beautiful.  Look a the greyish-blue outline.

Ryan enjoyed Cruiser from about a 5 foot distance.

Crusier enjoys his friend, the baby goat.

Ryan gave Mark some bunny ears in honor of Easter.

Peak-a-boo!

Ryan being cool!

This plane flew overhead in the middle of the afternoon.  Mirjan got a great picture!

It was a good day, and now the kids are excited about tomorrow.  Ryan was a little moody this evening and didn't want to eat anything.  This is similar as every Saturday night, so Mirjan made him a bottle of milk for bed time.  I'm sure he will have a big appetite tomorrow.  Davianna wants to see the Easter Bunny in action, so I'll have to be careful.  She has said several times that she was going to catch him in action and tell her friends if he's real or not.  She has already poked her head out of her room twice tonight.  She left the Easter Bunny a note and some candy.  :)

Father, thank you for blessing us with a great day today.  Thank you for Mark and Denise, their kindness, caring, and generosity.  Your love displayed through them.  Please bless them and their family.  Thank you for providing excitement and happiness for the children.  I'm grateful for the time our family spends together each day; it is so much more special.  Father, I ask that you give Ryan's system an extra boost this week, let his counts rise, and give him strength for the next big treatment.  Please continue to heal my little boy.  In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen.
